So where does the jewellery come into all of this?

Can't believe I'm on my third post already! (well to be fair, I could have put all three posts into one, but I'm trying to make it easy for you guys!).

At the age of 5, eleven years ago, I found a shop in my hometown of Chester called 'Constellation Beads'. It was a back alley shop..you would have walked past it if you didn't know it was there. The minute I walked into that shop, I was in total awe.

I adored the little wooden trays of beads...so many beads. So many colours, shapes, sizes, textures..the choice was almost too much for me to take in. If you had given me the choice between a sweet shop and this bead shop, I'd have forgone the chance of a rosy apple. My parents had finally found something that kept me quiet (which believe me was some mean feat).

My obsession with beads and jewellery making has gotten stronger and stronger since that day. I did my first jewellery workshop when I was about 9, and that was the only one I have ever participated in. Everything I have learned, I have taught myself. Mainly by trial and error, and there has been a lot of frustration along the way.

But I stand here now at the point where I want to share my passion with the wider world. I feel it is now time for me to go to the next level. And I want you to come with me!
