Different directions...same brand?
Morning everyone!
I hope you are all well! I haven't posted for a couple of days...I've been busy making and creating :0)
The one thing I love about making jewellery is the way that inspiration comes from so many places. However sometimes, I get inspired by so many things it's difficult to know to make first! As I have mentioned in previous posts and my newsletter, I am currently working on a really exciting range of pendant necklaces. These necklaces look just stunning. I have finalised a couple of the new designs, and have been road-testing them by wearing them myself. The response has been so encouraging! Lots of people have commented on them whilst I am out and about...which is really lovely! I hope to have the new designs in my Etsy store within a fortnight...so watch this space!
But whilst I have been busy away working on the new range of pendants, I have had a sudden increased interest in my handmade tiaras. I have about three of four of my tiaras for sale on Etsy at the moment, and I am having quite a number of messages asking about them. I started making handmade tiaras about 8 months ago. It was something I'd always wanted to learn how to do, and last year I decided it was time to develop a new skill! It took quite a while to make tiaras that I felt were the quality I was striving for, and now I have honed my skills and materials I am proud to list them on Etsy. So it is looking like I will get to work on two completely different styles and in two directions, which is wonderful! I wondered whether I should open up a new Etsy shop exclusively selling my handmade tiaras, however after a lot of helpful feedback from my customers I think I will keep all of my items in the one shop. I'd love to hear any other opinions on this subject though!
So....the next project I will be working on after I have launched the new pendant range will be lots of scrummy handmade tiaras! I'm so excited...it's such a blessing to be able to do what you love to do :0)
